Qatari artist @abkuwari has reimagined the batoola to give it a new look, far removed from the traditional styles, yet maintaining its original shape and using some of the original materials. Each batoola she designs feels like it has come from another world. The mask is worn in different ways, with new colours and decorations creating an imaginary mix of the past and the present.
