Marking his 20 years in the industry, Iglesias is currently on a world tour with his new show “One Show Fits All.”

Since it started two years ago, Doha Comedy Festival has brought a lot of laughs to Qataris and residents with a variety of shows with diverse line-up of comedians from various corners of the globe. In its previous editions, the country’s only festival hosted the world’s top performers from the US, UK, GCC, Middle East and Asia including Trevor Noah, Maz Jobrani and Mo Amer, to mention a few. Its first ever winter edition held last year as part of Shop Qatar witnessed the biggest gathering of comedians as 15 comedians from nine countries shared the stage for a three-day show.
“Iglesias joins a long list of international comedians who performed in Doha Comedy Festival, along with his accompanying acts Alfred Robles and Hamad Al Amari. The show will be entirely in English and once again Doha will showcase the finest global comedic talent,” said Zahr, adding they expect more than 2,000 people to watch the event.
One of the highlights of the ongoing Qatar Summer Festival, the show is being organized and produced by The Social Studio and supported by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA).
“We are so happy to see that Doha was able to establish a very reputable comedy festival in the international comedy scene and today it grew into becoming the biggest comedy festival in our region. This all goes back to Qatar’s ecosystem that supports such touristic and cultural projects, and to our audiences who have been there since day one, and our partners at QTA,” added Zahr.
Tickets in the Royal and VIP categories have already been sold out, while tickets in the Silver, Gold and Platinum categories are still available for QR95, QR145 and QR245 respectively via Virgin Megastore website.
The show will be held at QNCC’s Al Mayassa Theatre. Doors open at 7.30pm and show starts at 8pm.
